I am a disgrace to all of the hard working cosplayers out there....
I worked through this entire weekend and got little to nothing done with my cosplays :'(
Actually to be honest, after today I really don't feel motivated to do anything other than lay in bed and long to cry myself to sleep. I cant do that though because, 1. I am currently sleeping on the couch and 2. I don't really cry.. I have a lot of negative feelings towards crying and I just sort of, I don't know, grew out of it?
I am a heartless schmuck -_- but people made me that way soooo...
All in all I am ready to do a test drive of Yukio Okumura. Rin is almost there, I am just missing the sword. It all got glued together but I haven't gessoed or painted because I still don't know what to make the tsuba out of. Karera had a really good idea of how to mold it and make it light weight and stuff but I don't think he will have time for that before this weekend so I am most likely going to put a splint on the joints of the sword, gesso the crap outta it and then make the tsuba out of  either more poster board or hot glue...
I hate using hot glue on a prop like this because it is really meant as a temporary solution.
I do plan to start molding stuff out of actual iron because I aim for functional props. So I obviously wont be able to take a sharp sword to a convention and they prefer for it to not be made of metal but I think that ultimately being able to make my own sword would be awesome. 
I would own a fake con-safe version of my prop and a real one. I am already half way there with Yukio's guns XD
So my goal for tomorrow is picking up the tie for Yukio and the ribbon and paint to get it the right colors (-_-) and hassle Heiwa to do a costume test run.
OH AND I CAN SEW THE BIAS TAPE ON THE FLIPPING BLAZER! Geez, how could I forget about that?!%!#!$&%$*!!!

The play I was working with is over so I will be focusing on my props again. Alright, Imma go curl up in a ball and rethink my life choices (especially this weekend). By that, I mean sleep. I am going to try and sleep.
